The following information has been provided by IDMEIA/IdentoGO for your reference.
In-State Applicants
Applicants will be required to visit an IdentoGO location of their choosing
for fingerprint processing. To locate an IdentoGo location in your area, and to schedule a date and
time for fingerprinting, please visit https://www.identogo.com. When scheduling an appointment,
applicants will need to provide the following ‘service name’ and ‘service code’ to ensure your
information is properly routed to the LSP ECU.

Out-of-State Applicants:
There are two options for out-of-state applicants.
(1) Applicants residing in states serviced by IDMEIA/IdentoGO can schedule an appointment
in the same manner as described in the ‘In-State Applicants’ section above. This out-ofstate service will carry an additional cost.
(2) Applicants residing in states not serviced by IDEMIA/IdentoGO can obtain a printed
fingerprint card from their local law enforcement agency and submit directly to
IDEMIA/IdentoGO processing center.
Costs
All costs associated with the background check will be determined by IDEMIA/IdentoGO
with a starting price of $55.75. Louisiana State Police does not set nor collect any portion of these
fees.
Methods of Payment:
Applicants will be given the option to pay by credit/debit card, business
check/money order, or authorization/coupon code. Business checks and money orders should be
made out to either IDEMIA or IdentoGO. Prepaid coupon codes may be obtained in advance
through the IdentoGO website at https://www.identogo.com
Rejection Process:
Fingerprints that are determined by the jurisdiction to be unusable will need
to be resubmitted. IdentoGO will notify the applicant and provide instructions on how to
reschedule at no additional cost.
